Circumcision, it is that bad

The reason circumcision is allowed to continue is that people don't believe that it would ever have started, or that it would have stopped long ago, if it really were "that bad". Our "civilized" society would never condone baby torture, right? If it were needlessly painful, if the benefits did not outweigh the risks, if rights were truly violated, there's no way routine infant circumcision would even exist. There MUST be a good reason for it. But the fact that there isn't is the very thing that perpetuates RIC. It's a horrible, nightmarish paradox.

Know this: IT IS THAT BAD.
